Hi friends, my name is Luigi. I’m Italian, and I’ll be 3 in October. Unfortunately I have GM1 type 1 and my story is not very different from yours. The difference is that I received gene therapy at 16 months.

Now my disease is growing with me , many things are changing but I promised to be strong , always , no matter what. Sending you a hug, heroes friends. Luigi

Ciao amici , mi chiamo Luigi e sono italiano e ad ottobre compirò 3 anni. Purtroppo sono affetto da GM1 di tipo 1 e la mia storia non è molto diversa dalla vostra. La differenza è che io a 16 mesi ho ricevuto una terapia genica.

La mia mamma e il mio papà , che ora non è più con noi , hanno scelto di offrirmi una seconda possibilità di vita .

Adesso la mia malattia cresce insieme a me , tante cose stanno cambiando ma io ho promesso di essere forte , sempre , comunque vada.
